The project began with a comprehensive topographic and boundary survey, including detailed mapping of existing terrain, drainage features, utilities, right-of-way boundaries, and site improvements. This information provided the foundation for project planning, engineering design, and municipal review.
RCG led the land use entitlement process by preparing the site plan layout, development code analysis, planning narratives, utility and drainage exhibits, landscape plans, and application materials required by the City of Grants Pass. As part of the entitlement strategy, the team also prepared a road vacation application to consolidate the development site while preserving public access and utility easements. RCG represented the project during public hearings and coordinated closely with City staff throughout the review process.
Following project approval, Rhine-Cross Group prepared the complete civil engineering construction package, including grading and drainage design, stormwater treatment and detention systems, erosion control plans, utility plans and profiles, parking lot and access drive design, construction details, and DEQ 1200-C erosion control permitting. The design integrated public and private infrastructure improvements while ensuring compliance with City standards and development requirements.
Throughout construction, RCG provided construction administration services, including contractor coordination, responses to requests for information, site observations, inspection reporting, as-built documentation, and final engineering certification. By providing integrated planning, surveying, engineering, and construction support, Rhine-Cross Group successfully guided the development from initial concept through project completion.
Skylakes Medical Office Building
Rhine-Cross Group delivered full-service construction surveying support throughout all phases of the project, from initial site preparation to final utility and infrastructure installation.
